Iberian blackout: Update on Technical Interruptions and Restoration of e-GDS Services

|
29 Apr 2025
Dear e-GDS customers/users,

Yesterday's technical disruption in Europe inadvertently affected us all. This unexpected event had a significant impact on various digital infrastructures, also affecting our services.

It is crucial to emphasise that our core data infrastructure remained intact and our servers were operational at all times. However, we were affected by widespread internet outages, which compromised communication and regular access to our systems.

From the first moment it was possible, our technical team has been actively monitoring the situation and working diligently to minimise any additional impacts that may arise.

Services are currently normalised, but we will continue to proactively monitor and follow up in the coming hours.

We remain at your complete disposal to provide any further clarification or support that may be required.

Best regards,
Joaquim Pereira
CEO - e-GDS - Global Distribution Solutions
